      (홍콩 AFP=연합뉴스) 홍콩의 도심인 야우마테이 지역이 23일 새벽 신종코로나바이러스감염증(코로나19) 확산 억제책의 일환으로 전격 봉쇄된 가운데 의료진이 수만명의 지역 주민을 대상으로 한 검사에 나서고 있다. 홍콩 정부는 이날 새벽 야우마테이를 포함한 도심권의 건물 200개동을 봉쇄하고 향후 48시간 동안 이들 건물 안에 있는 것으로 추정되는 수만명 전체를 상대로 의무적인 코로나19 확진 검사를 진행키로 했다. 홍콩이 이처럼 특정 지역을 완전히 봉쇄하고 전 주민을 상대로 의무적인 코로나19 검사를 진행한 것은 이번이 처음이다. jsmoon@yna.co.kr (끝)
