(양곤 신화=연합뉴스) 26일(현지시간) 미얀마 양곤에서 압수된 마약이 불에 타고 있다. 미얀마 정부는 세계 마약 퇴치의 날을 맞아 6억4천200만달러(약 8천246억원)어치의 마약을 양곤을 비롯한 전국 주요 도시에서 불태우는 행사를 열었다. 6월 26일은 1987년 국제연합(UN)이 마약에 대한 경각심을 높이고 마약을 근절하기 위해 지정한 '세계 마약 퇴치의 날'이다. kxxsn@yna.co.kr (끝)
